A binomial distribution counts successes in a fixed number of independent trials. Change the number of trials and the probability of success, then shade the outcomes you care about.
Challenges
- Set p = 0.5. Increase n from 5 to 50. Describe what happens to the shape and the spread.
- Set n = 20. Compare p = 0.1 and p = 0.9. How are the two distributions related?
- Find P(X >= 15) when n = 20 and p = 0.6. Then find it as one minus a cumulative probability. Do they match?
