About All AP Courses
How each page is checked
Each check below runs before a page goes up, and the build stops if one fails.
Course facts come from College Board
Topic titles, unit weightings, exam dates and the exam format are read from College Board's Course and Exam Description for each course. The build compares every course file against that text and refuses to run if anything has drifted from it.
Every answer key is recomputed by separate code
A practice problem's answer is worked out a second time by an independent calculation that shares no code with the one that made the problem, over thousands of generated problems per practice set. The numbers in a lesson are computed by script, never typed in by hand.
Every question is answered blind
Each authored question is answered from the question alone, without its key, and that answer has to match the key before the question ships. A question that changes is answered blind again.
Every lesson is checked against the framework in a separate pass
Once a lesson is written, a separate pass that wrote none of it checks it against the Course and Exam Description: every learning objective and essential knowledge statement taught and checked, nothing past the topic, every number recomputed. Each finding gets a recorded decision, and a lesson is marked reviewed only when every finding on it is closed.
A course goes live only when Tanner approves it
Until then its pages can be read but are kept out of search results. Tanner reads each course before it goes live.
