2007, Question 2 · 6 points · about 25 minutes
Religious liberty rulings and institutional responses
Connect selected religious liberty cases to constitutional clauses and holdings, then explain how other institutions can limit their effects.
This paper allotted 100 minutes for four responses, recommending equal time for each, and used the earlier question structure. The current exam has 4 free-response questions in 100 minutes. The skills these questions practice still count.
Not in the current course. Historical case choices: Engel or Lemon, plus Reynolds or Smith. Only Engel is currently required; the question does not require choosing Lemon.
